Why Choose Us?

Why not ask our parents why they choose Aclet Close Nursery School for their children?

Feedback from families is available here:

https://www.acletclose.durham.sch.uk/feedback-from-families/

During our Ofsted inspection in July 2022, we received 100% positive feedback from Parents and all Parents that completed the ParentView survey said they would recommend our School to another Parent.

Ofsted July 2022:

Leaders value the strong relationships they have built with parents and carers. Staff work closely with families to ensure they understand and know the children well. Many parents spoken to describe the nursery as being like a ‘happy family’.

Ofsted March 2017:

The clear majority of parents who responded to Ofsted’s online survey, Parent View, are pleased with the Nursery and what it offers their children. Those parents that the inspector spoke to said, ‘The nursery feels like home. Teachers pay attention to what you tell them about your child. They make rapid progress here. There are lots of ways to get involved. The stay and play means you get to see how your children learn and get ideas on how to help them at home.’
