We have a Designated Teacher for Looked after Children (Mrs Lisa Jenkins) who works closely with the SENCO (Mrs Suzanne Staines) to ensure all staff in school understand the implications for those children who are looked after and have SEN.
Staff document children’s learning and discuss their attainment and progress on a half termly basis. Interventions are planned and delivered, when appropriate; some children will have a support plan or Education and Health Care Plan which Parents/Carers contribute to.
