Hi. My name is Tamsin Ellis and I am a co-opted governor. Having grown up in various part of County Durham, I moved to Bishop Auckland in 2016. I have worked in education for over 5 years and currently work within the SEND and Inclusion service supporting children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
I am passionate about supporting Early Years having seen the impact of early support and intervention. It is these earlier stages of development which allow children to grow independently, develop resilience and explore their own interests. I believe it is important for all children to have access to an inclusive education to give them the best possible start in life.
Aclet Close Nursery School is a fantastic nursery which provides an excellent starting point for young children, and I feel privileged to join such a warm and welcoming community. I look forward to working in partnership with parents, staff and the governing body to support this thriving nursery.
