My name is Tom Cuthbertson and I have worked with children and families since 2005 in various capacities. I have worked in nurseries, supported children with SEND, worked with families in a parent support role and also worked as a Teacher, Assistant Headteacher and I am currently Headteacher at Cockton Hill Infants’ School.
Over the years I have gained lots of knowledge of working with in schools with children and families completing a plethora of training. This includes a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership which I completed in 2018.
I am very familiar with Aclet Close Nursery. In 2010 as part of my role as Parent Support Advisor, I worked with parents of children at the Aclet. More recently, I have worked closely with staff, regarding shared families and the transition of families to our school. This work has been fruitful and it has always been a pleasure working with The Senior Leaders.
I am a friendly person with a good sense of humour (or at least I think so). In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, playing sports and playing guitar. I have 2 children of my own and I also enjoys spending time with them.
