I was born in Bishop Auckland and have lived in the town for most of my life. I am now retired, but was a Primary School teacher for 43 years and Head Teacher of a Primary and Nursery School for the last 18 years.
I understand the pressure that face everyone in education, as well as the worries of parents (Iโm the mother of two daughters, both of whom work with children). However, I have also experienced the great joy and satisfaction of working with children and seeing them grow and develop to their potential.
I shall strive to ensure that this adventure and excellent work continues at Aclet Close Nursery School.
