Governor – Suzanne Staines

My name is Suzanne Staines and I was appointed Deputy Head Teacher and SENCO in January 2017. I now live in Kirk Merrington, but was brought up and attended schools in Bishop Auckland. Over the past 10 years or so I have worked as a Teacher and a Foundation Stage Leader.

I strongly believe that Early Years education is one of the most important aspects of a child’s development, laying the foundations for the educational and life journeys our children will embark on through their lives. Through the activities and opportunities we provide at Nursery, we are ensuring that we are allowing the children to become independent, inquisitive learners who are both socially and emotionally ready for their next adventure.
